Welcome to AmpShark!
Here you will find the frequently asked questions from our customers organized for your easy reference.
HOW DOES MobileShark™ WORK?
With the MobileShark™️ amp system, you get one transmitter and one receiver. Together, these two are connected through seamless wireless ID pairing technology and operate on 2.4 GHz ISM band.
With this system, you'll be able to go up to 70 feet (a bit over 20 meters) away from the receiver and still keep the tone untouched. Anything that's in the hearing range between 20 Hz and 25 kHz will stay as it is without any impact on the guitar tone that you spent so much time setting up and dialing in.
What's more, the MobileShark™️ provides near-zero latency operation. Even many feet away from the receiver, you'll get a maximum of 6 milliseconds of delay. Anything below 10 milliseconds is pretty much unnoticeable to the human ear, so this delay will be of no issue to you or your audience.
If I have two of these on stage will they interfere with each other?
No, our transmitters support 6 sets of devices work non-interference under the same circumstances and support one transmitter transmit signal to several receivers at the same time.
IS SETUP EASY?
There is not even a setup required! All you need to do is plugin both the transmitter and receiver for no fuss guitar sessions.
